The Histories of SGSNC and GSWC includes general memorabilia about/from the colleges. The topics and subject matters are varied. This collection provides a wide range of artifacts, including, but not limited to: correspondence, mimeographs, newspaper articles, pamphlets, programs, a deed, brochures, and personal keepsakes. The Katherine C. Swidinski Scrapbook Collection predominately features photographs from South Georgia State Normal College in Valdosta, Georgia, circa 1919-1920. The photographs were collected in two black scrapbooks created by Daisy Mae Culpepper, a 7th-grade student at the South Georgia State Normal College training school during the 1919-1920 school year.
