Biographical Note

The Valdosta Daily Times was established in 1867. Laurie Gay is the publisher. Jim Zachary is the editor-in-chief.

Jim Zachary, Dean Poling and Laurie Gay are joined on the editorial board by community members Brian Childress, Yurshema Flanders, Celine Gladwin, Kara Hope Hanson, Jamie Hill, Tom Hochschild, DeWayne Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Sementha Mathews, Arthur Morin, Michael Noll, Stanley Andrew Ostapski, Angela Penn, JD Rice, Floyd Rose, Leigh Touchton, Miquel Vicente, Angela Ward and Gary Wisenbaker.

The Valdosta Daily Times is printed four days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and provides online news seven days a week. In addition to The Valdosta Daily Times print edition, The Times also publishes Valdosta Scene magazine each month and Ag Scene bimonthly. Source
