Biography

Begun in Runic year 2230 [1980] by Steve McNallen, the AlThings had Blots, formal Feasts, Sumbels, Ceremonies of the Folk, seminars, guided meditations, skaldic contests, and many other activities which made them both historic and memorable occasions reminiscent of the contemporary Pagan festivals. THe early AlThings resembled Moots rather than offical AlThings due to lack of a governance meeting. With the disolving to the Asatru Free Assembly in 1987, previous organizations reorganized as the Asatre Folk Assembly and continued the AlThing tradition.
