About
José Cuéllar, born in San Antonio, Texas in 1941. Graduated from UCKA in 1977 with a dregree in anthropoligy. As Anthropologists, he was chair and director of San Francisco State’s César E. Chavéz Institute for Public Policy for two decades. As musician, he played saxophone in Corrido Boogie Bandin. In 1989 he becaome known as Dr. Loco, performing in Dr. Loco’s Rockin’ Jalapeño Band.
