Ruth Rhiannon Barrett is a seasoned Dianic elder priestess. ritualist, educatot, and musician. She was ordained by Zsuzsanna Budapest in 1980. She was the religious director of Circle of Aradia in Los Angeles, a local chapter of Re-formed Congregation of the Goddess.

Half of the musical duo Ruth Barrett & Cyntia Smith, Barret was an important second wave feminist. Their record label, Aeolus Music, issued Aeolus in 1981 and Music Of The Rolling World on the Kicking Mule Records the following year. In 1984, the group released Deepening. All three albums are in the folk-Celtic style.
