Rice, an award-winning television news reporter. Rice, who worked for KCNC since 1982, won regional Emmy and Associated Press awards in 1986 for best feature story. Before joining KCNC, she worked at KHJ-TV in Los Angeles, KSTP-TV in Minneapolis and KMGH-TV in Denver. Died Sunday June 14, 1993 of lung cancer in Denver, Colorado.
