The 17th annual Pacific Music Camp, held June 17 to July 22 gave junior and senior high school students a chance to work under widely known choral, band and orchestral conductors during the five-week camp. Guest conductors include: Glenn Cliffe Bainum (Band), Henry Sopkin (Orchestra), and Don Craig (Chorus)

THe sleeve of this album provides a brief history of the University of the Pacific, the Schools of Liberal Arts, Professional Schools, which includes the Conservatory of Music, and the Pacific Music Camp. Also provided is a complete staff for the camp and the conductors for each week of the camp.

The 16th annual Pacific Music Clinic was held February 5, 1966 under the direction of JOhn Huxford. Gurst conductors include: Dr. J. Russell Bodley (chorus), Harry Newstone (orchestra), and Dr. Manley Whitcomb (band).

For String Quartet. Handwritten in pencil. UNFINISHED sketches in condensed score of Theme and Variation for String Quartet, which links with the parts found in Box 7, Folder 45. This unfinished condensed score only includes the Theme and third variation with the tempo marking as "Allegretto" where in the parts, the third variation lists "Allegro vivace" as the tempo.

Draft and Sketch for a March, possibly for band. Handwritten in pencil. The sketch is written for Cornet in Concert F, dated Nov. 1958 as it's date of completion.

Seemingly for band. Handwritten in pencil. Condensed score. Indicates flute and piccolo, but no other instrumentation. Complete. Possibly dedicated or commissioned for Mr. F.H. Ashe from School of Music at University of Miami, Coral Gables 1946, FLA.

For French Horn solo and piano. Handwritten in pencil. Contains signature of both John and Cliff Huxford. Dedicated to Cliff Huxford, John Huxford's son, for Christmass 1974.
