Description: Mask with mane and tassels. Media: Polychrome wood, fiber, cowry shell, nut. Size: 15 1/4" x 10 5/8" x 5 1/4". Surface: Small white spots (reverse and front top), wear (throughout, especially at edges of face, eyes, and protruding areas), finish dull throughout, except right forehead area, scrapes throughout face and ears. Stability: Loss (top side, bottom up; entire right side, cheek to mane, approximately ten inches by four inches), crack ( forehead, right side, one and one sixteenth inches, right cheek, half of an inch), rope strands very frayed, one apparently missing from right cheek, sections of lips missing. Infestation: Cobwebs.
