Scope and Contents

This folder includes letters of support for Thompson and his replies. In addition, there is a document in which Thompson is making a strong statement that he will not fall into any clique and will not be a puppet to anyone, but he will be a good leader. Also, a state representative tells his opinion of the election and how the terms should be done. The folder also contains a letter asking Thompson what his opinion was and what his real involvement and/or history is with Talmadge and the Democratic Party.
