B/W sepia 8x12 photograph. Exterior--woods. Three students on horses riding on Campus. "Horseback Riding on Campus." "Miles of lovely Bridle Paths Wind through the Pines around the college." (Campus Glimpses, 1937.) "Horseback riding, under the direction of [Mr. Sam Langston], is offered at a modest price." (GSWC Bulletin, 1935, p. 14) "Plans for the program include setting up 'a ring on the campus, and have a horse show, with running and jumping. The best rider will be awarded. There will be a rideing course through the woods." (Campus Canopy 5/29/1935, p. 5). Back reads: "Along the bridle path on an early morning center on a woodland trail." Pine Cone 1937. Physical location: Museum Display "Table Top," exhibited since 07/12/2006.
