B/W sepia 2x2 photograph. Borders cropped, tears. Interior--Classroom--Fine Arts Building. "Fine Arts at GSWC. Miss Frances Ruth Carpenter, an art professor, advises Louie Peeples, president of the fine arts club, on her drawing. 'They are the artists of the campus, the twenty-five Fine Arts Club members. They give art its place in college and create an art-consciousness among the students. The club was responsible for numerous exhibits. . . they sponsored speakers, a Saturday Morning Sketching Class and a craft shop. The club held a Christmas Bazaar and traveled ... to see the Ringling Art Collection" (Pine Cone, 1940)
