Back reads: Freshmen Date Regulations: A: The rules for Freshmen may have one date a week. B. Freshmen may not have dates with local boys the first quarter except with Emory Junior boys. C. All dates must be on the campus unless there is specific permission from parents. D. Dates must be in parlors, in the Recreation Hall except on Sunday nights, or in the Log Cabin. E. Freshmen may have one afternoon date a week for Co-Recreation on Friday or Saturday afternoon.(Student Handbook, 1943-1944)
