Scope and Contents

Photos taken on digital cameras by University Relations Creative Design department of various Valdosta State University campus activities and events from 1998-2012. The Creative Design Digital Photo Collection features digital photographs of news events, classroom environments, academic and campus life activities, and campus architecture. These photographs are not yet online but can viewed at request.

  1. 2006. Includes: -Centennial -Staff Appreciation Day -Wiregrass Folkways Celebration
  2. 2007. Includes photos of various events including the Blazer Walk, Chili Cookoff, Honors Dinner, and Football Rallys
  3. 2008. Photos of various event including Homecoming, Champions parade, Teacher of the Year and many more.
  4. 2009. Includes photos of Move-In Day 2009,Relay for Life, Upward Bound, the Spookbridge, and many more.
  5. 2010. Includes photos of Alumni Reception, Blaze Birthday Bash, Honors Night, the Union Ribbon Cutting, and many more.
  6. 2011. Includes photos of Bailey Science Center Addition, Art Exhibition, Omnino Reception, The Happening, and many more.
  7. 2012. Includes photos of Bill Filtz retirement party, Blazer Buddies, Atlanta Alumni Trip, the Undergraduate Research Symposium, and many more.
  8. Campus and Buildings. Digital photos of Valdosta State University grounds and buildings.
  9. Construction Projects and Renderings. Digital photos of campus buildings, maps and building plans, Aerial photos from 2008.
  10. Departments. Variety of digital photos categorized by department.
  11. Miscellaneous. Variety of photos including the VSU bus, telescope, and others. As well as VSU desktop backgrounds, webpage banners, and other assorted image files.

Received by Deborah S. Davis on September 28, 2012 from Creative Design Services director Jeff Grant. The files were transferred on an external hard drive and brought to the Archives.
