University Relations is one of Archives largest growing collections. The department replaced Valdosta State College's Public Relations, when Valdosta was granted University status. Because of this a lot of, items fall into the catergory of University Relations. The collection contains: Slides, pictures, & negatives from college history and events 1960-2003. Grads and Deans Lists 1997-2007. Press Releases from 2000-2008. Images from 20003-2010 are held in our digital files.  Alumni Bulletin Newsletter 1978-2000. Alumni Voice & News Newsletter 2000-2010. Newsclippings about the University 1989-1998, 2006 & 2008.  Planning papers for University Events 1967-2000. Bio. files for Staff and Faculty including resumes and articles and newsclipping. Publicity Files including press releases, articles and pamphlets 1993-1999. Videos of Campus events from 1991-2007. The collection also contains papers about past Valdosta State Presidents such as biographies, speeches, resumes, and inaugurations(Dr. Sidney Martin, Dr. Hugh Bailey, Joan Bailey, Dr. Ronald Zaccari).
