The Newsletter began publication shortly after Jo and James Dixon moved to Aurora, Colorado from Dallas, Texas. The earliest issues lacked chronology and enumeration making sequencing them suspect.

The issue designated here as December 1977 discusses events that occurred in October-November of 1977 and a tour coming in January. This issue also states no issue was sent out the month before, suggesting when taken together that this was published December 1977. In addition, on page 4 its states this is the second issue making only one other issue since their move to Colorado, which occurred in 1977.

Only three issues are known to have been published in the 1977-1978 timespan and their designations are: October? 1977, December 1977?, and February 1978. Likely due to the Dixon's moving again to its neighboring city of Denver, the next known issue bears January 1979. Beginning with this issue, chronology was included on the Castle Rising Newsletter issues. The last issue appears to be v.2, no.6/7 (June/July 1979)
