Scope and Contents

This section is missing the front page of the newspaper. Page1/2 of section two are included as well as pages 3/4 of the magazine section and pages 3/4 of the regular newspaper. Section two highlights Macon, Ga. The other main story headlines: "Booker T. Fowlkes, a Most Unusual Man in Columbus." Page 2 has blurbs of local people from different cities across Georgia from Toccoa to Nashville, to Denton. The Magazine Section has a couple of cartoons, an editorial of "Things I'd like to see more of..." In addition there is also a memorial concerning W.C. Handy. Two stories concerning sharecroppers and tenant farmers is on page 4 along with "Work with Words" an editorial/comic that aims to expand a person's understanding of the English Language. The regular section of the paper (Pages 3/4) has a full page Coca-Cola ad (page 4) and page 3 has a bunch of small editorials concering Easter happenings from services to beauty pagents. Also a small story on a fraternity (Kappa Alpha Psi) meeting.
