Valdosta State Baseball, 1998. Program.
Gulf South NCAA, Division II. 33-23 overall, 14-7 in GSC East. Entering his 31st season as the outstanding head coach of Valdosta State's Blazer baseball team, Tommy Thomas has enjoyed success gained by very few. In 30 seasons, Thomas-led teams have compiled an overall record of 1006- 582, a .634 winning percentage. Last season, he became only the second NCAA Division II coach to win 1000 games, and his 1006 wins are the most among active Division II coaches.
