Biographical / Historical
Camp Dixie for Boys was founded in 1914 in Wiley, Georgia by A. A. "Pop" Jameson. In 1919 he opened the girls' camp.
The Dixie Camps were billed as, "A superior camp for selected girls and boys."
The Dixie Camps remained open through 2019.
