Dennis Marks was a professor and head of the Physics, Astronomy, and Geosciences department. He served from 1971-2001. Dr. Patricia Marks was a Professor of English at Valdosta State University from 1971-2001. They have been married since 1968, and have been incredibly influencial to the VSU community.
