Campus Capsule was issued by the Valdosta State College Campus Relations Office as a weekly news-sheet. It contained brief news-items about things happening at the college. These could involve individual employee announcements such as a new employee being hired or a professor attending a conference. They also involved campus-wide events, and inter-departmental news such as committee meetings. This collection contains newsletters from 1966-1989.

Capsule Caboose was a published "occasionally" by the Valdosta State Personnel Office as a newsletter for employees concerning subjects like retirement, insurance, taxes, and financial matters. The Archives has copies dating from 1977-1991.

Contains a general nation-wide Facilities Survey of Colleges and Universities for the United States published in 1965.. This involves statistical data concerning the amount of space that college or universities have, what conditions these facilities are in, and how they are used. Also includes is a list of events for Valdosta State 1992-1993, and in which facilities they were held.

This collection houses a wide variety of publications. Some of the magazines and newspapers concern regional matters, or are publications of Valdosta State ranging from the 1950s to present day. There are others that deal with major world events such as announcing the end of World War II that stretch from 1908-1945. Finally there are 19th century music scores.

Scope and Contents Odradek is Valdosta State University's on-campus literary and arts magazine. It is staffed, written, edited, and published yearly by VSU students from all majors and disciplines. Former names include The Pine and Pendragon, regardless Valdosta State's magazine has been publishing short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction, photographs and visual arts for several years now.
