Louis Schmier Papers
Louis Schmier was a professor of history at Valdosta State University for 45 years. He retired in 2013 and donated a large collection of materials to the VSU Archives and Special Collections. This is comprised of novels about World War II, Journal articles about World War I, and sources about German history relating to World War II. In addition there are costumes he used when teaching and posters from the VSC "Week of Seminars" events in the 1970's.
Margaret W. Ellis Papers
Margaret Ellis once of the Education department donated copies of her papers "A System Model for Integration of Media into the Teacher Center Concept" and "Guidelines for the Instructional Sequence Project"
Patricia Marks Papers
Dr. Patricia Marks was a Professor of English at Valdosta State University from 1971-2001. Her collection is made up of papers written by her, notes on the subject, copies of other journal articles, and presentation materials. Also included is professional correspondence with other professors and publishers. Manuscripts and research notes of two of her books are here.
