1 map: color; 19" x 14 1/2"; matted Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1860 by S. Augustus Mitchell, Jr. in the Clerks Office of the District Court of the US for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Constructed and Engraved by W. Williams Scale of Miles: 0, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 Map # 24 appeared in Mitchell's New General Atlas (1864). The Borders of Hindoostan, Tibet, China, and Burmah are outlined in red. Provinces, cities, mountains, and rivers are shown. The top shows Longitude East from Greenwich, and Longitude East from Washington. The map has a border of ribbons, flowers, and vines.
