1 map: color; 17 3/8" x 13 7/8" Published: Philadelphia, PA; S. Augustus Mitchell Scale (Miles): 0, 100, 300, 500 This Map of Asia was featured in Mitchell's New Universal Atlas(1846). It depicts land stretching from Asia Minor to Papua (New Guinea). It features capitals, important towns, as well as rivers, deserts, and mountains. The countries are color-coded based on the country who claims it as territory ex: British= pink. An inset is in the bottom left corner of New Holland (Australia). The bottom shows Longitude East from Greenwich. The entire map is rimmed by a green border.
