Philosophy Department General Files
Scope and Contents
The Collection is not comprehensive but contains scattered holdings. It includes a “Handbook for Deductive Logic” by Dr. Ron Barnett. Brochures and programs for speakers and plays from 1973 to 1979, including programs for “The Respectful Prostitute” in 1973. See Valdosta State University by Deborah Davis for photograph and description of play. Brochures and flyers advertising classes and memos from 1978 and 1996 concerning proposed conferences at Valdosta State are included. The conferences were on Human Rights and Land Use. A program proposal by Jim Hill on “Taking Human Rights Seriously” to the Committee for the Humanities in Georgia in 1978 completes the collection.
