Scope and Contents
The Georgia Humanities Council is a nonprofit organization working to ensure that humanities and culture remain an integral part of the lives of Georgians. Valdosta State University Archives houses materials from the following Georgia Humanities Council Projects:Regional Identity: A Reading, Writing, and Regional Issues Project Using the Works of Janice Daugharty; Beauty in Transition, Turpentine Trees and Wiregrass; A Century of U.S. - Korean Relations: Problems and Prospects; Humanistic Concerns in Education & Basics in Education; Come Alive: A Celebration of Young Adult Literature; Early Southeastern Indian Art & Culture Poster Exhibit
