Scope and Contents
Three scrapbooks of early SGSNC students including photographs, newspaper clippings, invitations, cut-out decorations, and dried flowers. Names found in the scrapbooks include Natalie Sirmans, Jean Loggins, Emma Sue Morris and students with the last names Williams and King. The scrapbooks date from circa 1917. The pictures include the "coming to college" girl and other very early photographs. Many of the photographs have been removed from the scrapbooks and are stored in our photograph collection. Digitized copies of the scrapbook are available in the VSU Arcchives Flickr page in the Georgia State Women's College, 1914 Scrapbook Album.
