Katherine Bonnabel is a Master Herbalist, Administrative Assistant and Student Advisor of the Hermit's Grove Master Herbalist program, and has been working and studying in the field of natural healing for over 25 years.  She has trained with Tim Blakley, aromatherapy educator for Aura Cacia, herbalist Rev. Paul Beyerl, Dr. Michael Murray, Dr. Herb Joiner Bey, and others in the field of alternative medicine. She has been employed at the PCC Community Markets in the greater Seattle area for 20 years, working in the herbal supplement and vitamin department, educating consumers and helping them take steps to improve their quality of life using science-based evidence and natural remedies. In her spiritual practice she is a Third Degree Priestess in the Aquarian Tradition of Wicca. As High Priestess of the MoonStone Circle coven she has trained, initiated, and elevated members of her coven, some of whom have gone on to establish Ravens Hearth coven, the second of the Aquarian Tradition.  Her own training in the Tradition began in 1997 under the guidance of Rev. Pete Davis, Rev. Bert Dudley and Rev. Deborah Hudson, of The Aquarian Tabernacle Church, based in Index, WA.  She soon became the Director of Public Education, organizing and leading the outreach program to educate the public on various topics related to Wicca.  She was also deeply involved in ritual drama, working for many years on the ATC's yearly festivals, Spring Mysteries (based on the Eleusinian Mysteries of ancient Greece) and Hekate's Sickle.  She has carried this work forward in forming Sacred Well Ministries, a community service group which produces a ritual drama based on the Orphic Mysteries. She hopes to continue the Hermit's Grove Master Herbalist Program and the Sacred Well community carry their work of education and service to others well into the future.
