Scope and Contents
American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a nationwide network of more than 170,000 members and supporters, 1,000 branches, and 800 college/university institution partners.Through community leadership and collaboration, AAUW of Georgia hopes to improve equity, access, and opportunity for women and girls. AAUW of GA empowers women and girls and provides a forum for their voices to be heard. The papers included in this collection cover Georgia's AAUW and range from the mid-1920s to present day. They cover such topics as financial information, conventions, meetings minutes, directories, news reports, bylaws, projects, correspondence, member materials, as well as information concerning individual branches.
