Southwest Georgia Section of the American Chemical Society
Scope and Contents
The American Chemical Society (ACS) is the world’s largest scientific society and one of the world’s leading sources of authoritative scientific information. A nonprofit organization, chartered by Congress, ACS is at the forefront of the evolving worldwide chemical enterprise and the premier professional home for chemists, chemical engineers and related professions around the globe.
These papers are mostly from the 1970s-1980s and are concerned with the Southeast Georgia Section of the American Chemical Society.
Since they are mostly local in nature they contain a lot of membership information such as bylaws, manuals, rosters, and histories.
Also contained are meeting minutes, new articles, as well as reviews of local activities. There are lists of available speakers for the 1981-1984 tours.
