Scope and Contents

Amalia Amaki is an artist, art historian, educator, film critic and curator who currently resides and works in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to this, she was a Professor of Modern and Contemporary Art at the University of Alabama from 2007 to 2015. The Amalia Amaki Collection consists of an assortment of publications including books, magazines, pamphlets and various forms of advertisement. The majority of the information deals directly or indirectly with the Paul R. Jones Collection and the publications/advertisements of the colleges and other places that exhibited parts of that collection. The materials in the Amalia Amaki Collection are dated from 1972 to 2007. There are also many books donated by Amaki in the library general collection. A search on Amalia Amaki should bring these donated books up.
