Scope and Contents
The collection consists of a GSWC Pennant, a 1948 GSWC handbook, and a memory book with mementos from GSWC. Many items were loosely stored in the memory book and have been placed in individual folders.

Biographical / Historical
Sue Kirkland McCranie (1930-2015) was born Cora Sue Kirkland in Pearson, Ga on April 30, 1930. She attended Georgia State Women's College from 1947 to 1949. She went on to receive a degree in Home Economics from The University of Georgia. She was married to Shasta McCranie for 63 years before she passed away in 2015 at the age of 84. While at GSWC Ms. Kirkland participated in Sports Club and was a member of the Dance Group.
