Georgia Association for Instructional Technology (GAIT)
Scope and Contents
The Georgia Association for Instructional Technology (GAIT) is the Georgia state affiliate of the National Association for Education Communications and Technology (AECT). The aim of GAIT is to expand and diversify information and communications technology and improve instruction through the systematic development, utilization and management of learning resources including people, processes and technology. This collection includes materials from GAIT that mostly spans from the 1990s to the 2000s. These include GAIT's Membership Directories (1995-2001), as well as papers from their conferences held in the mid 1990s. Also included are copies of the GAIT Connection, their publication (1988-1999), and financial records dating from 2005-2013.
