The Lamar Dodd Collection includes 21 pieces on display on the first floor North lobby of the Odum Library.  This collection was given to Valdosta State College after negotiations that started in 1974.  They were first displayed in the college library in @1978.  A book detailing the works was created in that first display.  In 2010-11, after complete rennovation of the North side of Odum Library the pieces were re-displayed in what as known as the Lamar Dodd Gallery.  Each piece is documented in the Art Survey Database http://archives.valdosta.edu/artsurvey/ and correspondence related to the acquisition is kept in the Archives Director's office in Archives and Special Collections.
