(Company B, 1269th Combat Engineer Battalion, 6th Army Group; 44th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Brigade) He participated in the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp, April 29, 1945. The personal narratives of George Aigen are part of the Veteran's History Project (AFCX/2001/001/95454) at the Library of Congress.
