Scope and Contents Victoria Pennington (1943-2015), Valdosta State University Associate Professor Emeritus, was a member of the Theatre faculty. Victoria Pennington collected these 16 framed maps that highlight places she traveled.. The collection includes important early maps of St. Augustine, FL and the Georgia/Carolina coast created by French mapmaker Jaques Bellin (1703-1772) and Samuel Lewis. There are maps of the Southeastern U.S. ,Georgia and the Gulf of Mexico by American S. Augustus Mitchell (1792-1868)...
