Berrien Historical Foundation Videos
Scope and Contents
The Berrien County Historical Foundation Collection is a partnership between the Foundation and Valdosta State University Archives and Special Collections to digitize, preserve, and provide access to materials documenting the history and families of Berrien County, Georgia. Established in 1995, the Foundation is dedicated to promoting local history through educational programming, community projects, and stewardship of archival resources. This digital collection features family newsletters, community publications, and a large historical photograph archive that collectively capture the people, places, and events shaping Berrien County’s past and present. Key components include the Shaw Family Newsletters (1993–2019), the Old Berrien Newsletters (2007–2025), and the Berrien County, Georgia Historical Photograph Collection, which is accessible online and contains over 16,000 digitized images.
