Baseball

The VSC Baseball Team was formed in 1954 and had its first official baseball season of intercollegiate competition in 1955. The first coach was Walter Cottingham. The college was first a member of the Georgia Conference. In 1959, Gary Colson, later a VSC basketball coach, became baseball coach. Beatrice Maud Hill Collection

The collection contains nine journals, eight of which was used by Beatrice to record psychic impressions. In particular, readings regarding her son serving in World War II. Two separate items from British lecturer and psychic Horace F. Leaf (1885-1971) are include with Leaf encouraging Beatrice to develop her psychic abilities.
