Abstract

History of the Department: Classes in Mathematics have been a part of the college since SGSNC.The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is a part of the College of Arts and Sciences. Recent department heads include: Dr. Donald L. Duncan, 1970-76; Dr. LeRoy Babcock, 1976-77; Dr. Kenneth E. Martin, 1977-1984; Dr. Randall Hicks, 1984-85; Dr. John Schleusner, 1985-1994;Dr. Ashok Kumar, 1994-2000; Dr. Thomas Carnevale, 2000 to the present.
