Scope and Contents
The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) represents the interests of university professors to lawmakers, college administrators and the public. They lobby for legislation and funding issues that affect higher education, such as tenure, equitable funding, and collective bargaining. On campus, AAUP represents the faculty to the administration, often addressing issues of retention of faculty, fairness, course load, evaluation, tenure and faculty representation.

Scope and Contents
Campus Capsule was issued by the Valdosta State College Campus Relations Office as a weekly news-sheet. It contained brief news-items about things happening at the college. These could involve individual employee announcements such as a new employee being hired or a professor attending a conference. They also involved campus-wide events, and inter-departmental news such as committee meetings. This collection contains newsletters from 1966-1989.
