Item 1: Ruptured Duck Plaque, 1943
Black plaster plaque featuring a sculpture of the "Ruptured Duck" medal that was issued to each honorably discharged World War II veteran. On the side of the plaque is a small button on a ribbon. The button also features the "Ruptured Duck" motif. The button was presented to Lieutenant Colonel Pleasant Eugene Irby, USMC, of Ponca City, Oklahoma. It was donated by his family.

A medal on a blue ribbon depicting an eagle. Medal is displayed on a velvet background in a plastic case. On the back of the medal is engraved: "For department of the army meritorious civilian service to Rosario R. Fiore.
