Scope and Contents In 1989, Roy Copeland informed his wife, Cheryl, that he did not wish to select a gift for Christmas. Rather than doing this she decided to surprise him! For Christmas that year, she presented him with a seasonally wrapped box. Inside the box, to his surprise, was a set of autographed Muhammad Ali boxing gloves. 15" x 41" wooden frame containing two letters from Tom Bradley,the mayor of Los Angeles. The top letter, dated 06-25-1984, is addressed to Phyllis Diller inviting her to an event called "The Big Picture". The second letter, dated 05-15-1969, was written when Bradley was a councilman. In the letter, addressed to Mr. Fred G. Nichols, Bradley was sending a requested autograph.
