Scope and Contents The Georgia Historic Resources Survey of Lowndes County represents an initiative undertaken by the Valdosta Heritage Foundation, commencing in the year 2000. This collection encompasses surveys of historic structures located in Valdosta, Quitman, the rural areas of Brooks County, and the Turner County towns of Rebecca and Sycamore.
