Pinder, Lisa, Coach

 Person

Biographical Note

Lisa Pinder’s journey with the Lady Blazers Softball team began in 1987 when she was hired by Athletic Director Tommy Thomas, following a recommendation from Cecil Whitehead. Her family’s move to Moody Air Force Base, due to her husband’s 26 years of service in the United States Air Force, set the stage for her involvement in the team.

Outside of coaching, Pinder has dedicated her life to being a wife, mother of three sons, and grandmother to two grandchildren. Her decision to resign from coaching came during her husband’s deployment to Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, a period in which family responsibilities took precedence. Pinder values her time with the Lady Blazers as an integral part of her life story, alongside her deep commitment to her family.
