 Collection — Multiple Containers
Collection number: UA-16-2-6

Scope and Contents

The Lady Blazers Softball team was founded in 1987 by head coach Lisa Pinder, who was hired by Athletic Director Tommy Thomas following a recommendation from Cecil Whitehead, Head of Parks and Recreation at the time. Under Pinder’s leadership, the team transitioned from NAIA slow-pitch to NCAA fast-pitch, establishing the foundation for the program's future success.

After Pinder stepped down from the program in 1991, Ron Durante assumed the head coach position.

This collection contains materials such as a 1995 sponsorship flyer, a team schedule, and an annual program, as well as a 1996 program that includes statistics, schedules, and photographs.
