WS Conference
Jane Elza was a member of the Political Science Department who was involved in the founding of the Women's and Gender Studies department at Valdosta State. Her papers involve the AAUP at Valdosta State for the 90s, as well as the founding of the Women's and Gender Studies Department. She was also very involved in the founding and early years of the Faculty Senate, and papers documenting the Faculty Senate are found here.
WSB Radio Atlanta
A program of "Salutes" was produced by radio station WSB-FM, spotlighting Georgia colleges and providing information on the institution. Valdosta State College was featured 1972. Also April 29-May 23 1968 VSC was featured on WSB's College of the Week.
WSB-TV Atlanta
February 19, 1971 President Martin and three students were featured on Today in Georgia a television show based in Atlanta. WSB-TV also requested Valdosta State College's assistance in producing a series of programs on opportunities for college admission and attendance in the University System in 1966.
