This folder contains letters of support to Thompson followed by his thank-you responses. The folder also contains a letter from the Avondale Elementary P.T.A. asking for a 50% pay increase for teachers in the state of Georgia, a letter from Emory University requesting broadside material from the present governor controversy for their archive collection, and a response to the letter from Emory University containing an attachment with a copy of the last radio address by Thompson as “Acting Governor” of Georgia.
