Scope and Contents
These materials are dated 1954, and covers the report to the people of Georgia Commission on Education which contains a recommendation that the people vote for School Segregation Amendment in the General Election on Nov. 2, 1954. Enclosed is a report for the Commission in answer to 25 questions contained in “GEA Release,” an analysis of School Segregation Amendment statements of Georgia leaders on the School Segregation Amendment complied by the General Counsel and Executive Secretary of the Commission. The folder also contains official rulings of Attorney General Eugene Cook in respect of Teacher Retirement Pension.
