Globe map produced for Society of Geographic Engineers in Paris. Copperplate engraving depicting East and West globes wiith text and elaborate border. Non-contemporary colored. Restoration to edges. Watermark depicting Maltese cross and chain. 20 3/4" x 14". Prepared by Claude Buy de Mornas, who was a professor of geography and history and published by Louis Charles Desnos, active in Paris at Rue St.Jacques.
