Scope and Contents
Framed woodcut y Blaeu of Dutch city perspective. From "View of Cities." Joan Bleau(1596-1673), son of Willem JanszoonBleau, took over the studio of his father and the position of official cartographer to the Dutch East India Company after his father died. He published a world map in 1648—Nova et AccuratissimaTerrarumOrbisTabula. In 1654 he published Tonneelder Steeden(View of Cities).
