Steel engraved color lithograph from J.G. heck book. Machine colored architectural drawing showing different facades of building. Page VII. Plate size 8 1/2" x 10 3/8". Engraver: Henry Winkles Henry Winkles was an English engraver, printer, and illustrator. He collaborated with J.G. Heck on several monumental encyclopedic books in the mid-nineteenth century. Winkles is credited with opening the first steel engraving studio in Germany.
